Phase 1

Extension: IAHCE 1st Vice President receives list of ideas for new Extension lessons from IAHCE and sends to Assistant Dean.

 
Phase 2
Extension: Assistant Dean forwards ideas received from IAHCE to teams. Assistant Dean sends letter to team leaders asking team to generate ideas for new lessons.
 
Phase 3
Extension: Team leader shares list from IAHCE with team. Team verifies pull dates of current lessons, revises description and proposes new lessons.
June 1
Phase 4
Extension: Team submits to Assistant Dean list of proposed new topics, (with descriptions), verifies pull dates and descriptions for current listing.
Aug. 1
Phase 5
Extension: Assistant Dean sends list of new Lessons for Living topics with descriptions received from the teams, and current listing, to IAHCE 1st Vice President.
Sept. 1

IAHCE: IAHCE counties select six topics and 1st Vice President reports to Assistant Dean the topics selected.
 
Phase 6
Extension: Assistant Dean notifies team leaders of the six lessons selected by IAHCE.
Oct. 15
Phase 7
Extension: Assistant Dean sends lesson titles with descriptions and request forms to unit leaders and State IAHCE 1st Vice President.
 
Phase 8
IAHCE: State IAHCE 1st Vice President distributes list of lessons with descriptions and request forms.
 
Phase 9
Extension: Teams write new lessons and train educators to teach lessons for delivery deadline.
Dec. 10
Phase 10
IAHCE: County HCE Boards return to unit leaders list of six lessons requested from Extension.
Dec. 15
Phase 11
Extension: Requests from county HCE boards for educators to teach are returned by unit leaders to Assistant Dean.
 
Phase 12
Extension: Assistant Dean forwards requests to team leaders.
 
Phase 13
Extension: Educators will be ready to teach lessons written from June 1 to May 30 of each year.
